Mission

We create sustainable solutions to poverty and human trafficking by using fly fishing to fund freedom.

Fly Fishing Collaborative began with a bold idea: What if our love for the outdoors could help protect women and children from exploitation?

Today, we mobilize the global fly fishing and outdoor community to build aquaponic farms, create jobs, and mentor vulnerable youth. Every product we sell, every trip we host, and every dollar we raise goes directly to prevention.

We empower families. We fuel hope.

We call it Fish Well. Do Good.

A simple phrase that captures what drives us.

We fish with purpose, tell stories that matter, and take action to protect what we love.

This is how we protect what matters most.

Vision

A world where children are free, families are safe, and communities are self-sustaining.

That’s the future we’re building together.

Why This Mission Is Personal

Our founder, Bucky Buchstaber, knows what it feels like to be unwanted.

Abandoned as a child, he wrestled with worth, identity, and the pain of being overlooked.

Years later, standing in a river with a fly rod in hand, he caught a vision. What if this simple passion could help protect kids who feel the same way he once did?

That question sparked Fly Fishing Collaborative. The story begins here.

Watch Bucky’s story and see how one life became a movement.
