Kate.png

Kate Watson (Canada, BC)

Kate is a fly fishing guide in British Columbia who is a conservator of classic Spey history, a steward of the water and lands, and a long line enthusiast. She became enamored with the traditional words and ways of fly fishing and how they can be woven into modern-day fly fishing techniques.

Kate is honored to work with a group as virtuous as the Fly Fishing Collaborative as an advocate for women and children. Through collaboration and cause, the FFC has brought our shared passion for fly fishing and fly tying together to do something bigger than our individual selves. Being able to tie flies that have more of an impact to do good, rather than simply catch fish has been an absolute privilege.
