Special Grant to Help Kids in Foster Care

We're also thrilled to share some exciting news that sets the stage for a remarkable journey of growth and impact. We've received a generous $25,000 Matching Honor Grant from the MrBallen Foundation! With this grant we plan to transform our Annual Kids Fishing Day into a multi-day outdoor camp with a curriculum that incudes social and emotional learning and healthy relationship skill building through trauma informed practices. With a primary prevention approach to child trafficking we will help to strengthen and create healthy relationships, reduce risk within individual’s environment, and increase buffers to violence.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to connect with nature, build lasting friendships, and gain essential life skills.
