This project is in partnership with TEARS. We are so proud to come alongside to help add sustainability to their incredible work.

As we approach the end of another remarkable year, it's time to reflect on the profound impact we've collectively achieved. Nearly a decade ago, in 2014, Fly Fishing Collaborative (FFC) was established with a visionary mission: to mobilize the fly fishing and outdoor community to create sustainable solutions to poverty & human trafficking.

What an exciting day it was for the young anglers at our recent Kids Fishing Day in partnership with the knowledgeable Chris Foster from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) at the Metolius Pond in Camp Sherman. This was our first Kids Fishing Day in Central Oregon. We were also delighted to have Kate from the Mayfly Project volunteering with us, adding an extra touch of expertise and fun to the event.

Kids Fishing Day is one of the great ways we engage with the next generation. Some of our events focus on serving kids who are part of the local foster care system, while others are open to all. Our next KFD is open to everyone, and we can't wait to see the joy on their faces as we help them land some big fish!
We’re delighted to share some heartwarming news from our recent project in Mbiko, Uganda, led by Alyson Wells, the Director of FFC Aquaponic Farm. In collaboration with Hands4Uganda, we are continuing our dedicated work on the 17,000-gallon recirculating aquaculture system at the Rock of Ages School.
