FFC Update: COVID-19
Dear FFC community,
My mind has been flooded with thoughts of you and the many communities that we partner with around the world. For most of us there’s never before been a time when we have experienced vulnerabilities at this level; homes, jobs, health, loved ones and so much more are vulnerable to COVID-19. I truly hope that any hard circumstances you may be experiencing will be short lived.
I trust that all of us can take some comfort in knowing that the safe homes, orphanages, and communities that we have partnered with are still benefiting from a sustainable food source through aquaponics farming. Although, like all of us, they are impacted by this global pandemic, there is no better time than now for them to be benefiting from a sustainable food source.
Our next couple of farm building trips have been postponed until it’s safe to travel again. In the meantime we will be reaching out to all of our existing partners, monitoring their situations, and offering any assistance we can give from afar if/when needed. We don't yet know the extent of the impact the COVID-19 virus will have in many of the communities that we’ve partnered with but we’re committed to stand with them, even if it is from thousands of miles away.
With love and gratitude,
Bucky Buchstaber
